• Consumer perceptions of the general economic situation over the last 12 months dropped five points to -42, although this remains 12 points better than in October 2023.
• Expectations for the general economic situation over the next 12 months decreased by one point to -28, which is four points higher than the same period last year.

Personal finances

• The personal finances index over the past year fell one point to -10, but this remains nine points higher than in October 2023.
• Projections for personal finances over the next 12 months improved by one point to -2, which is six points higher than October 2023.

Major purchases

• The Major Purchase Index rose two points to -21, marking a 13-point improvement compared to the same month last year.

Savings Index (not included in the overall measure)

• The Savings Index increased four points to +27, up two points from October 2023.
